"San Francisco, one of the richest cities in the world, has over 8,000 residents living on the streets. The number of people experiencing homelessness in San Francisco has become a crisis." – LexLab @UC Hastings

One of the main causes of homelessness and displacement in the Bay Area is a shortage of housing. One of the reasons that more housing is not being built is that “NIMBYs” are often able to block housing projects from being built in their neighborhoods.
